The Interactive Backpack from PLAYMOBIL brings a completely new kind of interactive audio system to the children’s bedroom, combining classic role-play with a lively soundscape. The small audio backpack is placed on the play figures and plays appropriate sounds, speech and short stories directly from the figure itself.

Product highlights at a glance:

• Vibrant play worlds: Breathes new life into existing characters and set-ups with matching sounds and speech.
• Children in the director’s chair: Technology provides inspiration, but the figures and children’s own imagination remain the stars of the show.
• 4 popular themed worlds: Offers audio content for the Pirate, Police, Zoo and Horse play worlds – future updates to follow.
• Puzzles & mini-tasks: Encourages children to complete small missions in their own PLAYMOBIL world.
• Screen-free time: Once set up via the app, the gaming experience runs entirely without a screen or the internet.

Game tip:
Let your child decide for themselves what happens next after a surprise sound – this way, spontaneous creativity determines the outcome of the rescue mission or treasure hunt.

In a nutshell:
With the Interactive Backpack, PLAYMOBIL brings role-play to life in a whole new way for children aged 6 and over. The compact backpack enhances each figure with a dynamic soundscape and voice effects that gently guide and enrich the child’s own play ideas. Using special ‘magic’ stickers on the figures (available separately), the backpack recognises the character and reacts accordingly. Once set up via the app – a straightforward process – the system enables a screen-free play experience where children can discover exciting content featuring pirates, the police, the zoo or the horse farm.

Whether solving tricky puzzles or mastering spontaneous challenges, the system fosters cognitive skills and imagination in a playful way. Thanks to its sophisticated technology, tactile feedback, audio drama and children’s own stories merge to create a vibrant play world. The play system is aimed at children who want to bring their adventure worlds to life even more vividly. What makes it special is that the technology uses clever audio cues to spark creativity, whilst giving children complete freedom over how their own stories unfold.
