Mozart's masterpiece "The Magic Flute" in a revised and abridged version, which was put together especially for children of primary school age. Prince Tamino narrowly escapes a snake's attack, only to accidentally end up at the court of the Queen of the Night. She sends him on a mission together with the bird-catcher Papageno to free her daughter Princess Pamina from the clutches of Prince Sarastro. Equipped only with a glockenspiel and a magic flute, the two embark on an arduous journey on which numerous dangers await them.
