Heidi and Peter are the best of friends, and they have been ever since the little girl moved in with Alm-Öhi in the mountains. Together, they explore the beautiful natural surroundings and have new adventures every day. One of these adventures involves Heidi saving a little bird that is seriously injured. She plans to nurse it back to health with the help of Peter's grandmother. Meanwhile, Peter has to deal with three village children who follow him to discover his secret treehouse. However, this secret retreat is for Heidi's eyes only.
